The Wirquin Macdee Metro Rapid Square is the authentic three-piece replacement flushing syphon designed for lever-operated ceramic and plastic cisterns with a square-profile sump. Engineered for hassle-free maintenance, it features an integrated quick-release coupling nut that allows the main syphon body and diaphragm washer to be serviced or replaced without removing the cistern or disconnecting the flush pipe. WRAS approved and fitted with an integral internal overflow, it provides a leak-free, reliable flush.

Installation & Measurement Guide
Shape Check: Verify your cistern requires a Square syphon (do not confuse with Round, Oblong, or D-Shape Metro models).
Method 1 (Replacing an Existing Metro Rapid): Measure from the base of the square bell/syphon to just under the flat square top cover to identify whether you need a 7.5″, 8″, 9″, or 9.5″ unit.
Method 2 (New Install / Alternative Syphon): Measure from the cistern base to the waterline and add 1″ (25mm). Ensure this height finishes at least 10mm below any cistern aperture or handle hole.
