Installation Note
Isolate hot and cold water feeds before servicing. Remove the temperature handle and stop ring, then unscrew the cartridge brass body using a 24mm or 34mm socket/box spanner depending on your valve casing. Ensure the valve housing cavity is flushed free of limescale or grit, and lightly coat the replacement O-rings with WRAS-approved silicone grease before seating. Once fitted and water supplies are restored, test and recalibrate the 38°C safety stop position with a digital thermometer. (Note: For reversed supplies with hot on the right, use reversed cartridge 47175000 instead).
