Installation Note
Always isolate incoming hot and cold water supplies before servicing the mixer. Remove the flow/diverter control knob and trim shroud to expose the cartridge headwork. Unscrew the securing nut/cartridge from the valve casting using a suitable spanner or socket. Clean any limescale deposits or pipe grit from inside the brass chamber, lightly coat the replacement O-rings with WRAS-approved silicone grease, and ensure the cartridge guide lugs slot firmly into the housing recesses before tightening. (Note: This is the flow/diverter cartridge on the volume side; temperature blending is handled by the thermostatic cartridge on the opposite side).
