FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • See last photo of this listing showing how to replace the Actuator
  • NOTE:  When putting the head into manual mode, the lever should be moved gently and slowly across and hooked onto the manual side. As the cogs and mechanism are calibrated to move at a specific rate (dictated by the synhcronous motor), if the lever is moved quickly, gears can sometimes slip. For putting in manual mode and this guidance not followed it can cause damage to the mechanism.
Once in manual mode, the head should be able to fit onto the body. This may require some wiggling of the head, however the mechanism should line up parallel and allow the head to sit flush on the body. The manufacturing process and the component composition is such that it is not possible for the mechanism, motor or stem to be out of alignment - There are fitting holes and grooves that are built into the design to ensure fitting during assembly can only be done correctly.
  • Any problems with fittings please contact us in the first instances explaining any issues and with photos of the old product you are replacing showing all codes.
