How to confirm it’s the right cable
| Check | What you should see |
|---|---|
| Valve model | Flush valve body/top stamped or documented as Optima 50. |
| Actuation type | Mechanical cable from button to valve (not rigid rods, not an air tube). |
| Cable length | Approx. 750 mm overall (tip-to-tip, including end fittings). |
| Ends/connectors | Ends match the Optima 50 valve cap and your button carrier (compare to product photos). |
Tip: If your button uses rigid rods or a pneumatic tube, this is not the right part.
Does not fit

Questions & Answers
Will this fit my SIAMP valve?
Only if your valve is a SIAMP Optima 50 with a mechanical cable and you need the 750 mm length. It won’t fit Optima 49/51, pneumatic systems, or rod-operated buttons.
How do I tell if mine is Optima 50?
Look for “Optima 50” on the flush valve top/body, or compare your valve cap and cable ends to the product images. Optima 50 uses a pull cable from the button to the valve head.
What problems does a new cable fix?
A stretched/frayed cable causes weak flush, only one button working, or no action. Replacing the cable restores correct travel.
Do I need a different length?
Measure your old cable end-to-end. If it isn’t ~750 mm, this isn’t the one. Order the length that matches your installation.
