As a conversion kit to use a new Powerhead 40003916-003 on an old-style (pre-1987) V4073 Honeywell valve. If the existing powerhead has a bump on it, you do not require this kit.

This kit can also be used to replace worn parts, in new style V4073A valve bodies rather than replace the whole valve. Providing a cheaper alternative than purchasing an entirely new valve
