What’s included
- 1 × Herga push button bellows with chrome button & escutcheon
Why air operation?
Pressing the button compresses the bellows, sending air through tubing to a remote switch element. That element then operates the electrical contacts away from the wet or hazardous area, providing total electrical isolation at the point of use.
Tubing length guidance
The actuator and switch form a sealed air system. Temperature changes alter air volume and could affect performance if the tubing run is excessive. Keep the total air volume (tubing length/diameter) as short as practical. Refer to switch-element data for maximum recommended lengths for moderate vs. extreme temperatures.
Check before you buy
- You are pairing with a compatible pneumatic switch element
- Your panel cut-out and mounting suit a chrome button + escutcheon style
- Tubing ID/OD matches your system and run length can be kept short
FAQs
Is this an electrical switch?
No. It’s an air actuator. It operates a remote pneumatic switch that contains the electrical contacts.
Does tubing come in the kit?
Not included. Order suitable air tubing and a matching switch element separately.
Where should I install it?
Mount the button where the operator needs access (panel/enclosure). Place the switch element outside the wet or hazardous zone.
