  • Fits multiple Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks and Sottini flush valves including SV89067 SV92667 SV92467 SV93467
  • The Measurements shown are of the seal's original state, the seal can distort/perish/shrink dramatically over time, up to 1cm, so there is no point measuring old diaphragm.  Do not be concerned if you purchase this new item and it arrives and you think it is bigger than the old.
  • Listing is for quantity one (1) SV01967 flush valve seal and clip
  • Suits the SV range of flush valves by Ideal Standard and Armitage Shanks
  • Easily removed and replaced (fitting instruction supplied)
  • Ideal Standard have only ever manufactured one type of seal and clip, so if you have a seal and clip like this, then this listing will be the replacement you require.

HELP WITH DIAGNOSING FLUSH VALVE ISSUE
If you have water running into the toilet pan continuously and are not sure if you need to purchase a spare part / replace the flush valve or inlet/fill valve you can try this simple test to determine.
TEST:  If you turn the water off (from the stop cock bringing water into the house OR an isolating valve on the cistern), leave it for up to an hour, does the cistern empty?
If the cistern empties then the problem is with the flush valve seal or flush valve itself.
If the cistern does not empty then it will be the inlet/fill valve that is faulty.
NOTE:  Replacing the diaphragm may not always resolve your problem as the fault could be with the valve itself but it is a cheap way to try and resolve and is usually successful.  We also recommend washing your valve in warm water to ensure any limescale or grit which could be causing an issue is eliminated.

HINT:  BE CAREFUL when removing the flush valve from the basket as your flush valve may have gone a little brittle over time and we have known instances of the clips on the basket breaking off and it is then not useable.
