The three way Diverter valve has a 1" BSP for the heating system, 3/4" BSP for boiler, and 3/4" BSP as the common inlet path.

We are aware that certain Ravenhead models sold through outlets of B&Q, Wickes and Homebase contain different models of Diverter values to the ones published by Ravenhead. Please double check the pictures exactly match the angles of all the outlets. For CSI85, you may need a FTB1946 or FTB1947.

One of the main advantages of these combination boilers is that they provide domestic hot water at mains pressure, eliminating the need for cold water tanks and shower booster pumps. The diverter valve is the component within the boiler that responds when a hot water tap is opened and diverts primary (heating) water to a heat exchanger in which the mains pressure domestic water is heated to a comfortable level.
